eChain Solution Architects strategically solve business needs with custom solutions, emerging technologies, and industry leading strategy and methodologies

eChain Solution Architects are focused on solving business needs in a strategic manner. Decisions are evaluated against how they will allow the enterprise or a single software system to grow and perform in the long term. Great care is taken to create and identify opportunities for re-use. Budget, time to market, scalability and reuse are key decision factors in selecting the appropriate solution design from many alternatives.

The essence of the Solution Architect is capturing and converting the requirements into an architecture and design that will become the blueprint for the solution being created. eChain Solution Architect organizes the development effort, and is responsible for the vision that underlies the solution and the execution of that vision into the solution.

eChain Solution Architects are passionate, innovative, results-oriented individuals with commitment to success. We have extensive experience in architecting, designing, and deploying enterprise legacy, and web-based and web-enabled business applications. Hands-on experience in Object-Oriented Design (OOD), Unified Modeling Language (UML), stateless distributed architectures, and designing for scalability and performance.

  • Solution Experts - Supply-Chain Execution, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) Solutions Expertise. Emphasis on i2 Technology applications (DP, SCP, DF, FP, TM, TO, etc.), SAP, and Microsoft Dynamics AX
  • Business Experts - We have in aggregate worked on hundreds of projects, and bring to the table personal experience from our previous implementations in both large and small companies
  • Professional Consultants - From the old school, we estimate and execute with professionalism and integrity. We will give you an accurate quote, and provide the best resources available to deliver your project on budget. We understand how to support or lead your engagement to successfully deliver your solution
  • Execution Focused - Focus on Rapid ROI, meeting expectations, mitigating risk, and delivering on time and on budget

The Enterprise Architecture team provides application architecture design leadership on various LOB and enterprise applications. We are responsible for designing applications for high performance and scalability in a distributed, multi-tier, cross-platform environment. This team owns and is accountable for the technical design process including the creation of class models, sequence diagrams, component models, etc., and detailed design specifications. This team also works closely with application developers to ensure the consistency of the architectural solution.

Solution Architect tools and deliverables include:

  • Business Needs Assessment (BNA) - A detailed analysis (BR0) and documentation of your companies business project requirements, business rules, scope, workflows, actors, use cases, process maps, etc., needed to gain consensus on the common vision of the business needs
  • Solution Design Document (SDD) - Initial design of the envisioned solution including storyboards and mockups (prototypes) and blueprinting as necessary
  • Technical Design - In necessary detail to hand over to a completely isolated developer resource (in theory), who could develop the component(s) and solution to prepare for unit testing
  • Integration Design Document (IDD) - Design and documentation of all system to system integrations with timings, triggers, data elements/data maps, API's, etc.

eChain Technology Solution Architects follows our proven methodology and approach to design the optimal solution and approach for your company. We validate and consider your budget, time to market, scalability and reuse in the solution design. We help you select solution and implementation partners and strategic alliances that support your solution goals, and we will grow and evolve those relationships to foster a win-win relationship for all players in the common goal of successfully delivering your solution.
