Project: CEVA Logistics 11/2007 · Functional Lead for the development of new Broker Settlement Summary application to be built within the existing ERP. · Led business requirement and process definition on the international shipping requirements for the solution specifications. · Identified the new system flow within the ERP to accommodate the new functionality. · Developed design documentation for the build team to construct the logic and programming. Project: Birdseye Foods 02/2007 – 11/2007 · Project Manager for the rollout of the Manhattan Open Systems WMS for 3 Distribution Centers. The scope of this multi-million dollar project is the elimination of a legacy freight payment system along with retiring a previously implemented Transportation Management application. Accountable for the overall IT strategy for the project from the budget, resource planning, hardware direction, integration with legacy systems, integration with matrix in teams, testing (unit and stress) and administrative activities. In addition have the responsibility for the relationship with the Logistics user community and the software vendor relationship. Previous achievements include: · Managed the implementation of i2 Technologies Transportation Management System on time and under budget. · Managed the implementation of a national truckload bid application that resulted in a 7% decrease in truckload rates. · Managed the implementation of several modeling applications from i2 Technologies. · Worked directly with i2 Technologies to co-develop an on-line bid application for Less-Than-Truckload shipments. · Assembled a high performing team by matching associates skill sets with the resource plan. · Proven versatility in handling tasks from software issue resolution to administrative tasks such as project report outs, budgeting and forecasting. · Past winner of annual internal IT Value Award 1996 – 1998, JDA Software Group, Inc., Norcross, Georgia Manager, consulting Services Managed the implementation of the Merchandise Management System (MMS) at a leading edge drug store retailer and a sporting goods retailer.
